Can You Build Muscle In A Calorie Deficit?
Is it possible to build muscle whilst in a calorie deficit?
Basically Ash wants to know whether you can still build muscle if you are eating less calories than you burn (i.e. you are in a calorie deficit).
The answer to this question isn’t black & white. There is a grey area. The idea of being in a calorie deficit is to lose body fat. To build muscle you would ideally want to be in a calorie surplus (eating more calories than you burn).
