Picture the scene…
You are hungry and craving something sweet.
You know if you reach for a Snickers bar it’s going to add 200 calories to your daily intake.
You walk into the shop and see a can of Coke Zero.
You’ve heard fizzy drinks aren’t the greatest so you opt for the chocolate instead.
Later that day you forget about eating the Snickers and have dinner as usual.
You then realise you are over your calories by 200 for the day.
Not the greatest start to the week.

They help keep you hyrdated
They satisfy your sweet tooth
They add zero calories to your diet
They prevent you from grabbing higher calorie foods
So if you like diet fizzy drinks, feel free to keep them in your diet.
If you aren’t a big fan that’s cool too.
There are no secret health benefits you’re missing out on.
It all comes down to personal taste and preference.
